New Perris Commerce Center plans about 3.7M SF on 345 acres
A specific plan amendment would set retail, light industrial and high-cube logistics areas on 345 acres in Perris, with about 111 acres for habitat.

What's happening
The City of Perris is reviewing a specific plan amendment for the New Perris Commerce Center. A Notice of Preparation was filed in July 2024. The amendment establishes five planning areas for retail, light industrial and high-cube logistics uses.
The site covers 345 acres and allows about 3.7 million square feet of industrial space. Roughly 111 acres are reserved for habitat conservation. The filing does not name a developer, and our research did not find a later environmental document.
- Size: About 3.7M SF industrial on 345 acres
- Developer: Not named in the filing
- Location: Perris, Riverside County
- Status/Timing: NOP filed July 2024
- Conservation: About 111 acres reserved
What it means for owners, tenants and investors
Perris is already one of the Inland Empire's main logistics hubs, so this project would add to an established cluster near I-215. That makes it competing supply for existing high-cube owners, and it gives occupiers another option close to known labor and infrastructure.
New Perris Commerce Center adds to the Perris logistics cluster, with a large habitat set-aside reducing its buildable area.
